SNOOKER SECTION

3 TIME HOLDERS OF THE NORTH ISLAND PAIRS CHAMPIONSHIP.

Welcome to the Howick Club Snooker- section.

We have 4 well maintained tables for members use.

Monday evenings from approx. 6.45pm we run a snooker 'DASH' which is a great fun night. This is drawn pairs and everbody is handicapped with a time limit of 17/18 miutes per game and top 4 teams through to semi final and final. Entry fee is only $10 per player which also contains a raffle number ($50 prize).

All through the winter months we run various in-house competitions which consist of handicapped pairs and singles also a 'B' grade competition and Billiards, as well as Club pairs and Club singles, so there are competitions for all levels of snooker skills.

For the past 3 years the Howick Club has run the North Island Clubs NZ pairs competition which has been an enormous success. Previous Howick Club winners being Guy Burt and Clive Thompson (2006 & 2007) and Martin Jones and Richard Muelhaur (2008).
